I get asked all the time, if I had any idea what was happening with Cody.

My answer is a painful hard no. No one did.

That is why it is imperative that we all learn to work our mental health conversation muscles to give us every chance to not only save lives but live our lives to the fullest.

Start simple. Just ask the question: Are you okay?

About Angie

About Mayday

This book conveys a deeply personal journey of recovery, as Angie comes to terms with both her son’s struggle, and her own. She candidly expresses her emotional distress, internal conflicts and anxiety through the darkest time of her life. She opens up about her own feelings of guilt of missing what was happening with her son. She shows how each step of the recovery made her more determined to help get rid of the stigma surrounding suicide and the necessity to have those hard conversations with our loved ones.
